Severe weather possible in Alabama mid-week
By late Wednesday night, the majority of showers and thunderstorm activity will have shifted eastward out of our region, leaving us with a dry Thursday and remainder of the week.

“Our current expectations are for severe thunderstorms to develop in the Great Plains Wednesday morning”, forecasters announced.
Now would be a good time to review your severe weather safety procedures and know where your safe place is.
After the cold front and storms, temps will drop back into the 50’s for the end of the week.
The National Weather Service said Sunday afternoon that the strongest dynamics for severe storms should be well north of the state, which would limit the risk.
