Hollande will attend the Republic Day parade on Rajpath as chief guest, becoming the fifth serving French president to do so, on Tuesday.

The French president also attended a grand lunch, which also had Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan as guests. The private event was hosted by the ambassador of France, Francois Richier.
