Mira Rajput was rushed to the hospital yesterday evening and Shahid Kapoor was beside Mira throughout her hospital stay.

Shahid has been by Mira’s side ever since she was admitted earlier this week.
As soon as the news broke, the proud father took to his micro-blogging account to share the news with his friends and fans. “Love and blessings to the little one”, he posted.
Upon the baby news breaking, Shahid’s parents went to visit the new generation of their family at hospital. “Thank you for all your wishes”, he wrote.

“She was taken to the labour room at 7pm and delivered a healthy baby girl about an hour later”, added a source.

According to a report in IANS, grand mother Neelima Azeem’s long wish has been fulfilled as she always wanted a granddaughter. Love to the little one! We are sure that Shahid will make an equally loving and adorable daddy.
