Wasserman Schultz stepped down as the DNC head following a series of 20,000 emails published on WikiLeaks Friday that showed DNC members being critical of Bernie Sanders’ campaign.
Democrats are sure to get in plenty of jabs at Trump’s expense, but the attacks nearly certainly will not match the vitriol of the Republican crowd, some of whom dressed up as prisoners and chanted “lock her up” and “Hillary for prison” on a nightly basis.

Several of her supporters stood on chairs and waved T-shirts bearing her name, whole some yelled at the Sanders’ supporters to step back or sit down.
The DNC follows a whirlwind Republican National Convention, during with Donald Trump officially became the GOP’s nomination for the 2016 presidential race.
“This is going to be a big contrast to what we saw in Cleveland last week”, he said.
Former Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak, a vice chairman at the DNC, told The Hill on Sunday that those involved in scheming to undermine Bernie Sanders’s presidential campaign should either resign immediately or be fired.
She was the first woman nominated by a sitting president as Chair of the Democratic National Committee that would formally anoint Clinton as the party’s presidential nominee.
As the week progresses at the Wells Fargo arena, the Clinton camp hopes that focus on the ousted leader will be overshadowed by images of unified party elders, rule-following delegates, A-list celebrity endorsements and minority outreach.
Some let it be known that they would prefer anyone – even Trump – as president rather than see Clinton gain the White House.
“The FBI is investigating a cyber intrusion involving the DNC and are working to determine the nature and scope of the matter”, officials said in a statement.
Brazile says Bernie Sanders will “point the way forward” in his convention speech Monday night.
“I was highly offended by that”, Rendell said.
Wasserman Schultz faces Sanders-backed Tim Canova in a Democratic primary in Florida on August 30.
“I’ll never vote for Hillary, I’ll vote for Jill Stein”, said John Delahanty, 66, referring to the Green Party presumptive nominee who has openly encouraged Sanders himself to join the Green movement.
Trump gloated at the Democrats’ opening day disorder.
Fallon, speaking to reporters after a press briefing here, dismissed the idea that in the end, Sanders voters will flock to Donald Trump: “There’s been a way overwrought narrative about the idea that Bernie Sanders supporters are in play for Donald Trump”.

The demonstrations, largely driven by Sanders supporters, have been peaceful, so far. The email exchanges between Democratic National Committee staffers leaked last week validate a concern that Mr. Sanders has continuously raised through the primary campaign – that the leadership was favouring Ms. Clinton.
