While Yale and Wisconsin’s new uniforms basically remained true to form with subtle aesthetic alterations, the special edition “Shamrock Series” jerseys for Notre Dame stole the show. Notre Dame has won the game every year with the latest being a victory over Boston College last year at Fenway Park in Boston.
The #ShamrockSeries helmet is hand-painted illustration of motif above Basilica doorway. This contest is Notre Dame’s sixth annual Shamrock Series event, an off-campus home game which will be have played versus November 12th in San Antonio.
Notre Dame has worked this color scheme before with its Shamrock Series gear. Count me in the camp that loves what Notre Dame and Under Armour have come up with for a number of reasons.

Here is a better look of the uniform, which features a shield that reads “God Country Notre Dame” on the sleeves and the helmet. The two programs have played 50 times, with Notre Dame holding a 38-8-4 edge and a 14-game winning streak that dates back to 1965. Those were the closing words of the teaser video Notre Dame released Wednesday to announce today’s big reveal. The Shamrock Series is expected to return in 2018.
