“Thank you to these three who helped me thru an impossibly tough day and continue to be there every minute supporting and loving me”, she said, alongside a photo of her with her pals with a completely shaven head.
Shannen’s getting through her cancer battle with the support of her loved ones.
The actress – known for her roles in both Charmed and Beverly Hills 90210 – stood with her mother Rosa Elizabeth Doherty and two friends as she admitted she had struggled through what was an “impossibly tough day”.
The documents, according to People Magazine, stated that Doherty “discovered that she had invasive breast cancer metastatic to at least one lymph node”, and that it had spread during the period when she was uninsured.
“[My husband] @kurtiswarlenko was in Mexico working but knew he left me in good hands @annemkortright @chriscortazzo #mamarosa I love you”.
She revealed that she was unable to get pregnant while going through the treatment to shrink the tumor in her breast. Each step showed the hard process of letting go and cutting her hair, and the last picture revealed part of her shaved head. “I will forever be there for you no matter what”. Doherty didn’t see a doctor until she had insurance again, which ultimately prolonged her diagnosis.

Dr. Oz added, “Thankfully, if we aggressively can treat it, we can save Shannen’s life, and her doctors are superb and they’re all over that decision”.
