Shannen Doherty says her dog detected her cancer
“In this particular 3-D mammography machine they are able to detect cancer 15 months earlier than they would be with just the conventional mammography machine so to me it’s just a great story, a great story of hope and I want to make sure that women know about it and know where to go to get this particular kind of mammography”, revealed Sheryl Crow.

Doctors subsequently discovered the cancer had spread to her lymph nodes and she is now undergoing chemotherapy, with plans to follow up the treatment with radiation.
“Cancer is not pleasant but it can bring out the best in relationships or the worse”, she continued. After undergoing treatment for breast cancer, Sheryl realised there was something major missing from her life.
“He loves me with pink hair or no hair”, the 45-year-old actress captioned the amusing photo, in which Iswarienko pokes playfully at her nose with his middle finger. “I learned how to say no”.
While Doherty said she hasn’t always had an optimistic attitude about her diagnosis, a key supporter in bolstering her spirits has been her husband, photographer Kurt Iswarienko.
This comes shortly after Shannen claimed her dog was the first to detect her breast cancer.
On the topic of 90210 and the tabloid rumors that circulated about her supposed diva behavior back in the day, Doherty reveals that she may regret how she acted sometimes, but she wouldn’t take it back. She’s learning to live without a breast as she waits for reconstructive surgery that will come at a later date.
“So I love women who are coming out and saying, “This is what I’ve done”.
She wrote: “Each persons cancer journey is different”.
“[My husband and I] were at this Italian restaurant in Brooklyn, and I looked at him and I said, ‘You better enjoy every single second that you have with me …”
We can’t fathom what she is going through, but we know other celebrities have beaten cancer. The amount of love has changed me, it’s just made me appreciate people. “This is cutting off 25 percent of that time already, which means that the treatment you’re going to have is so much less taxing than what you would have if you were stage three or stage four”.
