Share videos with your friends through the Facebook Moments app
Using AI, it identifies who’s in your images and when they were taken, allowing it to suggest who you should then share your photos with. The latest version of the app now lets you include videos too – but it can’t yet recognize faces in those, so you’ll have to add them manually. The company told us that out of the 400 million photos that have been shared in Moments to date, over 100 million came just in the past month.

Facebook has added one more feature in its armoury.In its recent announcement, company has revealed that its private photo sharing application, Moments will now support video sharing as well. From there, it can automatically tag the individuals and even share photo albums just with the folks who appear in the snaps. For example, say you’re at a party and all your friends are taking pictures. It simplifies mass sharing while leveraging the enormous power of its social graph.

Facebook said their efforts has paid off driving more than 400 million photos to be shared between users since Moments’ launch past year, the Verge reported. This has enabled the app to remain in the list of most popular apps on the App Store and Google Play Store. One app that didn’t get relegated to the cutting block, however, was Moments.
