Sharepoint is going mobile this year with a new app

Other SharePoint updates set to roll out this quarter include the ability to copy from OneDrive on the Web to SharePoint; a new SharePoint home in Office 365; and “intelligent discovery” of documents from both SharePoint and OneDrive. In an attempt to attract new users, the company is offering free migration to its cloud software from competitors like Box and Google Drive. We’re also introducing a new page authoring and publishing experience that allows you to create lovely, feature-rich pages that are responsive, mobile and easy to share with your team and the organization. Versions for Windows and Android phones are expected to be release sometime later in the year, Microsoft said.
