Shares of Dollar Tree, Inc. (NASDAQ:DLTR) Sees Large Outflow of Money
The number is based on a simplified 1-5 scale where analysts giving a Strong Buy rating would be given a 1 and those giving a Sell rating would be given a 5. 1,991,735 shares of the company traded hands. The shares are however, negative as compared to the S&P 500 for the past week with a loss of 8.35%. The company reported $0.25 earnings per share (EPS) for the quarter, missing the Thomson Reuters’ consensus estimate of $0.67 by $0.42. Brokerage firm Canaccord Genuity maintains its rating on Dollar Tree, Inc. In addition to high quality private brands, Dollar General sells products from America’s most-trusted manufacturers such as Clorox, Energizer, Procter & Gamble, Hanes, Coca-Cola, Mars, Unilever, Nestle, Kimberly-Clark, Kellogg’s, General Mills, and PepsiCo. During the same quarter in the previous year, the business earned $0.61 EPS. This helps identify the daily attitude of an equity based on news reports and articles and whether or not the news might positively or negatively impact the stock, based on a -1 to 1 scale. In the current trading session the stock reached as high as 63.76 and dipped down to 62.79. Of all equities tracked, Dollar Tree had the 0th highest net out-flow for the day. The shares were purchased at an average price of $66.20 per share, with a total value of $331,000.00. Following the completion of the transaction, the director now directly owns 45,000 shares in the company, valued at approximately $2,979,000. At the time, the deal appeared to offer Dollar Tree a new growth vehicle and a means to diversify from its single price point formula.
Dollar Tree acquired 138 Deals store locations in March 2006.
Looking ahead to fiscal 2016, Dollar General expects to continue its expense control and reduction initiative by implementing a more rigorous budgeting process that will target cost savings in specific budget categories.

Dollar Tree, Inc (DLTR) gained 1.5% or 96 cents to $64.01 after the discount stores operator plans to re-brand its Deals store network with 222 locations. Dollar Tree’s consumable goods comprises beauty care and food and sweet health and everyday consumables, like compounds and paper, and in select stores food that is refrigerated and frozen.
