Blues fans at Bobby’s Place on Washington Avenue in downtown St. Louis suffered broken hearts as well, by what could have been their year.

There’s no two ways about it, that was one of the most dominant performances from a single line in Sharks playoff history as the trio of Joe Pavelski, Joe Thornton and Tomas Hertl absolutely torched this Blues team.
The Sharks scored the only goal of a first period.
Joe Pavelski and Joel Ward led the way for San Jose as Pavelski netted his National Hockey League post-season-high 13th goal and Ward added a pair of goals in Game 7 including what would be the eventual winning goal early in the 3rd period. “Then a year ago obviously tough time missing the playoffs and going through some stuff as a team”.
Nobody has endured more trying moments with the Sharks than Patrick Marleau, who arrived as an 18-year-old in 1997, and Thornton, acquired in a blockbuster trade with the Boston Bruins in November 2005.
“We’re just enjoying the ride right now”.

The goal came following a close call for the Blues moments earlier. Pavelski will be front and center, as his performance so far in the postseason has made him a favorite to win the Conn Smythe Trophy as the playoff MVP. This includes the preparation of derivative works of, or the incorporation of such content into other works. I think the biggest thing is chemistry.
On game nights, the wives and girlfriends sit in groups of five or six and “squeeze each other’s arm and legs”, said Christina Marleau.
“So I can’t imagine the stuff written about them and said about them that they’ve had to deal with”.

“I’m a big believer that if you’re a clutch playoff performer, that’s something that’s a gift”, he said. “It’s a great night for those guys”.
“They’re Hall of Famers, they’re Olympians, they’re gold medalists, they’re all of the above”.
And is it possible to hold them both in the same day? How much money will they want? “Like everybody else, we’re a very close-knit family here”. He was also instrumental in helping San Jose shut down St. Louis’ big guns as the club eyes its first ever Stanley Cup.
“We still have four more wins to try to get”.
Patrick Marleau nearly wasn’t here to experience this magical moment.

Ward scored his second goal of the game and sixth of the playoff series three minutes into the third period by deflecting a Couture pass by Blues goalie Brian Elliott. He gave them much-needed relief int he form of a backup they could count on (Stalock, uh, didn’t exactly fill that role), and giving Jones some off time has probably helped him be able to put up such great performances throughout the post-season. But we realize there’s more out there.
