MTV announced the nominees for the upcoming 2016 Video Music Awards, and one very popular name was noticeably shut out in every category: Taylor Swift.

Taylor even shared the elaborate flower arrangement Kanye sent her several days after the show, which has become one of the most liked Instagram photos of all time. We’ll see. But for what it’s worth, Taylor’s probably hurt enough that she didn’t receive any nominations this year while her nemesis received a few.
Taylor Swift also didn’t release any new albums this past year, spending most of it touring 1989 with her squad instead Tiny Harris.
“This whole “thing” with Taylor Swift and Kanye West and now the Kardashians are coming in, it’s ugly”.

Celebrities took sides, and predictably, the many people that Taylor has shaded over the years sided with Kim and Kanye.
If Harris and West record a song together it might hit a sour note with Swift.
Kanye shouted at the fans in his hometown after performing the first 30 seconds of “Famous”, stopping after his now iconic Taylor Swift lyric. “But Kanye and Calvin have been in touch and when they found out that he was going to be there, they knew that they had to go!”
