The attacks are part of a wave of violence which began in mid-September amid tensions surrounding a holy site in Jerusalem which is sacred to Jews and Muslims. A Palestinian and one Israeli were also killed; the gunman was arrested.

The Associated Press reports a knife-wielding Palestinian stabbed to death two Israelis as they gathered with others for afternoon prayer in an office building in Tel Aviv.
“Whoever condemned the attacks in France must condemn the attacks in Israel”.

Ezra Schwartz, 18, a volunteer from MA, was among three people killed in the West Bank by a Palestinian firing an Uzi, according to the NY Post.

An American student, identified by Yeshiva World News as 18-year-old Ezra Schwartz, 51-year-old Alon Shvut resident Yaacov Don and a Palestinian bystander, 24-year-old Shadi Arafa of Hebron, were killed in the attack. The others were a Palestinian and an Israeli.
The building houses stores and offices and had been cordoned off by police after the attack. The second victim was an Israeli man in his 50’s while the third was a Palestinian bystander. It marked the first such incident in Tel Aviv in more than a month.
Also on Thursday, Israeli Maj. Gen. Yoav Mordechai and Palestinian Minister of Civil Affairs Hussen al-Sheikh signed an agreement granting Palestinian mobile carriers 3G high-speed data services in the West Bank.
Under interim peace agreements, Israel controls cellular networks in the West Bank.

Around 61 Palestinians were injured on Friday during clashes between dozens of Palestinian protesters and Israeli soldiers in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, according to the Palestinian health ministry.
