Reigns, 30, beat Dean Ambrose clean to become the new WWE Heavyweight Champion, but Sheamus spoiled his victory by cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase for a world title shot.

The MexAmerican superstar defeated Kalisto on Raw to advance to the semifinals of the WWE World Heavyweight Title Tournament. But the Owens/Ambrose match has more on the line, which makes it more important.

In a way, this match is really sad.

And lastly, is Sheamus part of The Authority now, or will he remain a lone wolf? This year? He’s probably going to lose to Tyler Breeze. Reigns hit Ambrose with a spear after a fairly short match. But that’s not the right move. I imagine that would’ve been the case even without all the heat. Charlotte is still the Divas Champion, and she’ll retain her title.

It might be Survivor Series in name, but the focus on this years pay-per-view event will be far away from the traditional 5-on-5 elimination match. Will this be the beginning of Undertaker’s road to WrestleMania, and possibly his last?

The Man That Gravity Forgot came very close to pulling off an upset before ultimately losing to Kevin Owens in the WWE World Heavyweight Title Tournament quarterfinals on Raw.

Now, if they can convert Kane to a member of the Family, then I’d be interested. Just take some time, enjoy the product, and see how he does first.

The direction they’re going seems pretty obvious.

In the Survivor Series semi-finals, Dean Ambrose battles Kevin Owens and Roman Reigns meets Alberto Del Rio.

With Seth Rollins gone, WWE needs a new lead villain. On SmackDown, both Wyatt and Strowman conducted promos, which would lead me to believe they will be the two representing the Family at Survivor Series. But is it Roman Reigns?

Could Triple H be a potential opponent for Reigns in the months ahead?

The issue with Ambrose turning, as DiMoro points out, is that older fans will continue to cheer for him as a bad guy. That’s how it worked for The Rock, and it can work the same way for Reigns. Dean Ambrose wins with the Dirty Deeds. Absolutely. But he shouldn’t have to.

In a statement Saturday, the WWE said it and the Atlanta venue hosting the event have increased security measures to ensure fans’ safety.

With the event shrouded with threats of looming terror, the matches were not as explosive or exciting when you think about the good old days when traditional Survivor Series matches were something to look forward to.
