Dean Ambrose seems to be poised to wrestle in the midcard now that the WWE World Heavyweight Championship tournament is over, but it’s curious he wasn’t around to help out Reigns when he was getting beaten down by the heels on RAW. That gave Sheamus time to come out and ambush Reigns, cash in his Money in the Bank contract and steal the title. They booked a No. 1 Contender’s tournament for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship before Seth Rollins suffered a knee injury which saw Roman Reigns go over. “The #CelticWarrior @WWESheamus has shocked the world at @PhilipsArena!”, the company wrote on Twitter alongside a photo of Shamus standing tall over Reigns.

In a nice little wrinkle from the Divas Championship match at Survivor Series, Paige had some video footage of Charlotte “cheating” to retain her title on Sunday night as her right arm was under the ring ropes when Paige tapped out to the Figure Eight. The Brothers of Destruction (Kane and The Undertaker) defeated The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper). He quickly followed breaking out of the hold with a Spear to earn another match later in the night. Without this great graphic how else would you know the sure fire trivia factoid that the undead brothers have actually wrestled more as a tag team (35 matches) than they have against each other (15). Thus concludes the reclamation project of Roman Reigns, the guy who was supposed to become “The Man” back at WrestleMania 31.

Federal Bureau of Investigation officials confirmed Saturday they were taking seriously a report about an ISIS threat at the WWE Survivor Series. As Reigns demanded his rematch, Triple H backed down, saying that he’d only get his rematch when Triple H said so. When Triple H came out to congratulate the new champ, Reigns refused to shake the COO’s hand, delivering a Spear instead. It makes every match feel anti-climactic because there’s no end in sight, and no sense of pacing or structure. Paige beats down Charlotte after the match and cinches in the Scorpion Crosslock on the announce table. The Wyatt family enjoyed a few success but a double chokeslam turned the contest and ‘Taker finished the match with a trademark Tombstone Piledriver of Harper. Back in the ring Reigns takes a chair away from Rusev and lays the Russian out with it, then smashes Sheamus with it as he tries to enter the ring.
