Moscow has also called for a UN Security Council meeting, with Russian Ambassador Vitaly Churkin saying on Thursday he hoped the council would adopt a resolution endorsing the ceasefire deal at next week’s high-level General Assembly.
Just before that deadline the UN Security Council will hold an emergency meeting to discuss the issue.
Russian Federation has accused Washington of failing to rein in the rebels, and on Saturday Mr Putin asked why the United States has insisted on not releasing a written copy of the agreement.
Pressure on ceasefire The lack of progress on aid, almost a week after the ceasefire agreement was sealed between Russian Federation and the United States in Geneva, is placing pressure on the fragile ceasefire with more reports of clashes, some inside the ceasefire area.
Nour el-Din el-Zinki group says in statement Friday that their observation posts in the area are confirming that government forces are still on the Castello road.
The coalition conducted four airstrikes against the Syrian forces encircled by Islamic State (IS, banned in Russia) militants near the city of Deir ez-Zor, on Saturday.
“Coalition forces would not intentionally strike a known Syrian military unit”, the USA military statement said.
Aleppo-based activist Bahaa al-Halaby denied that government troops had withdrawn, adding that humanitarian conditions in the eastern areas of Syria’s largest city are deteriorating. The official also said the USA will continue to pursue compliance with the cessation of hostilities as it continues military action against IS and an al-Qaida-affiliated group.
A military source told AFP on Friday that Syria’s army “has carried out its pledge and handed over a number of points to the Russian monitoring teams” but that rebel groups had not pulled back from their positions.
Insurgents shelled government-held areas in the eastern area of Qaboun, wounding three people, Syrian state media said.
An opposition activist who is near Damascus, Mazen al-Shami, said government forces had tried to enter Jobar but had been pushed back by opposition fighters. He also restated Moscow’s demand that the United States use its influence with opposition forces it supports to distance themselves from al-Qaida-linked fighters.
SANA accused the insurgents of launching the attack, triggering retaliation by government forces.

The truce went into effect on September 12 and has been mostly holding across the war-torn country despite minor violations.
