At the Monaco Anime Game International Conference, Suzuki’s team showed a screenshot of the new Shenmue 3 which looks awesome to say the least.

Shenmue 3’s Kickstarter campaign recently wrapped as it set the bar for video-game projects on the crowdfunding platform by pulling in some $6.3 million in pledges. Suzuki will also be showing off more screenshots of the game. The event will feature presentations and informational panels from multiple anime and game creators, modern and long-running, as well as a cosplay competition. You can check out how colorful Shenmue III’s environments look right below.

Yu Suzuki wants more strategy and interaction in Shenmue III’s fights. Plus, bearing in mind that the previous games in the series contained solid, yet conceptually adventurous gameplay, Shenmue 3’s overall offerings will probably go on to please newcomers and long-time fans alike. Are they enough to satisfy your curiosity for now, or do they leave you craving more information about the game?
