Sheriff: California woman found with message burned on skin
Yikes! It looks like Sherri Papini’s husband Keith may have jeopardized his wife’s abduction investigation by revealing sensitive info about her mysterious case!

But when pressed later in the day, Bosenko said he’d only confirmed that the details were in Keith Papini’s letter, not their veracity.
Earlier this week, her husband Keith articulated his horror of visiting Sherri in the hospital for the first time since she was released.
The Shasta County Sheriff’s Department held a news conference on Wednesday with an update on the case of the Redding mom who was missing and was later found.
Her husband Keith Papini has said his 34-year-old wife was covered with bruises and burns and was chained at the waist and wrists when she was found.
Those were the few details Sherri Papini was able to relay to investigators about the two women who she says forced her into their SUV and then abused her for three weeks as their prisoner.
As Radar previously reported, Papini had been missing for 22 days before she was found on Thanksgiving day.
Bosenko said it was apparent that Sherri Papini had been battered, but she was not admitted to a hospital that treated her injuries, which Bosenko declined to discuss in detail. They also have a handgun with them and the authorities are now searching for Sherri’s abductors.
Both alleged captors are described by Ms Papini as Hispanic. She had a thick accent. “I broke her nose and split her eyebrow”. The second captor was described as being older, with thick eyebrows and straight black hair with some gray. Tom also said it wasn’t clear if Sherri knew her abductors or not.
The interviews “were very intense for both detectives and Sherri, due to her having to relive this traumatic event”, Bosenko said.
Who abducted Papini, a wife and mother of two young children, and what was their motive?
“All the information that we have right now we have no reason to believe that she is making this up”, said Shasta County Sheriff Tom Bosenko in an interview Wednesday with The Sacramento Bee.
The mayor said Papini was “tearful, thankful and I think emotionally just completely distraught and relieved, relieved that she was out of that horror situation”.
“There’s still a lot of unknown about her assailants”.
Sherri Papini vanished on November 2 after she went out for a jog near her home in Redding, about 140 miles north of Sacramento. “We now don’t have a known motive or reason for this abduction”.
Sherri Papini’s abduction has drawn local and national media interest.
The newspaper said cops have discovered the posting, purporting to be from the pretty blond on a defunct white supremacist site called skinheadz.com, boasting she’s “proud” to be white and slamming Latinos. However, we commend Sherri for her efforts to sit down with our detectives to provide a statement.

Investigators are probing the origins of a unusual blog post in which someone claiming to be Sherri Papini writes of racial hatred towards Latinos while claiming to be “proud” of being white. Meanwhile, according to the International Business Times, Keith and Sherri Papini allegedly stand to gain several hundred thousand dollars from an anonymous donor, who originally offered up the money as ransom to the kidnappers for the safe return of Sherri.
