A child has been found safe on Shawano Lake, while the search continues for his father.
Deputies said high winds pushed the boat away from the father and son, while efforts to reconnect were hampered when a tow rope became stuck in the boat’s propeller.
Sheriff’s officials found the 10-year-old boy in the water near a buoy. Emergency responders had been searching for Robertson since about 10:48 a.m. Wednesday, when two people were reported missing at Shawano Lake.
The Shawano County Sheriff’s Department has identified the victim in a drowning on Shawano Lake as Norman Robertson, 45, of Maryland. He always had, like, movies in his backyard, he always tried to invite my son over and include him in all the things they did.

Neighbors said Robertson, a psychiatrist who worked in Rockville, also cared for his elderly father.
