NBC4 has a crew on the way to Knox County. She said that her ex-boyfriend Herschel Ray Jones had left with weapons and was looking to kill an officer. In a 2011 case, he pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity before changing his plea to guilty. Dispatchers then tried to contact the Danville officer on duty, but were unsuccessful.
