Sheriff: Texas girl in danger after father found slain

The Department of Public Safety says 13 year-old Adriana Coronado was last seen Saturday in Katy.

Investigators believe Adriana, a high school freshman, was with her father when he was killed.

Walker County Sheriff Clint McRae said, “Right now we portray that she is certainly in grave danger and we are needing the public’s assistance very much so”.

He said authorities were operating under the assumption that the teen had been abducted.

Adriana’s mother, who is now in Mexico, does not know of any enemies her husband may have had.

An Amber Alert was issued in Coronado’s disappearance.

She is out of the country recovering from surgery and unable to travel. The Sheriff explained Caesar Coronado’s body was burned and found in a rural area in the northern part of Walker County.

Adriana Coronado had not been located as of press time Monday evening.

They seemed to be happy, the mother said, according to KPRC.

Police are looking for an unknown suspect in connection with her abduction. She is Hispanic and typically wears black-framed glasses. Enlarge KTRK Caesar Coronado’s badly burned pickup truck was found following his murder.
