“Over the next four days, LaBeouf, Ronkko & Turner invite you to pick up your telephone and touch their soul”, the website reads. I responded to the usual text messages, opened snapchats of the last night’s inebriated and this morning’s sulking, only today, I dialed +44 (0)151 808 0771 in hope’s that Shia LaBeouf would answer.

Asked by The Guardian why he had made a decision to embrace performance art, LaBeouf replied: “Why does a goat jump?”

The A-lister, who kept viewers glued to the livestream of him watching his back catalogue of movies, has launched his own call centre as part of a performance art piece. Fans can visit the gallery and watch LaBeouf, Rönkkö and Turner field calls or watch it on live stream here.

The actor is also inviting people to come to the gallery in person and watch him at his desk where he is now fielding calls.
