The Sena workers had assaulted and smeared ink on Mr Bhaikatti face in presence of around 4,000 students at a Latur college.

Through an RTI query, Bhaikatti exposed a massive illegal in construction of a four-storied boys hostel in the city.
Local Sena activist Abhay Salunke said Bhaikatti was a “blackmailer”.
Yuva Sena chief Aaditya Thackeray condemned the incident. The party strongly condemns the disgraceful act. “Those involved have been removed from the party”, he tweeted.
Bhaikatti had irked the Shiv Sena when he filed for RTI information against Latur’s Rajshree Shahu College and held a press conference in this regard. But this was the first time that the party took action against its hooligans.
It may be recalled that both Kasuri, who was then in Delhi in connection with his book launch and, Kulkarni who had invited him to launch his book in Mumbai were repeatedly warned by Shiv Sena to cancel the event.
Pakistan has asked the worldwide community to take notice of the “terrorist activities” of Shiv Sena which had blackened the face of ORF chairman Sudheendra Kulkarni over the launch of a book by former Pakistani foreign minister Khurshid Mahmood Kasuri.

Prior to it, the Sena had also forced the cancellation of Pakistani singer Ghulam Ali’s concert in Mumbai. The recent hooliganism has hurt ties between the BJP and the Sena, with Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis lashing out at the party for its acts of intolerance and violence.
