Shkreli Out At Turing, KBIO Looking To Move On
The alleged scheme involved help from the company’s lawyer, Evan L Greebel, who was also arrested and charged on Thursday with one count of wire fraud conspiracy.

Controversial CEO Martin Shkreli has stepped down from his position at Turing Pharmaceuticals Friday following his arrest on securities fraud charges.
The company’s chairman of the board of directors Ron Tilles will replace Shkreli as interim CEO.
In the Turing statement, Tiles said the company was “committed to ensuring that all patients have ready and affordable access” to Daraprim and other drugs. He was indicted of frequently losing capital for investors, as well as misleading them, and was illegally taking assets from his companies to pay off debtors in another, noted by Bloomberg Business.
The FBI said on Twitter (Xetra: A1W6XZ – news) that agents had not seized Shkreli’s copy of a one-off Wu Tang Clan album, which he bought for $2m (£1.3m).
Shkreli’s stunning arrest on Thursday stemmed from previous hedge fund and biopharmaceutical companies he owned and later left.
Shkreli, the former hedge fund manager vilified in almost every corner of America for buying a pharmaceutical company and jacking up the price of a life-saving drug more than fiftyfold, was arrested Thursday on securities fraud charges unrelated to the furor. Shkreli pleaded not guilty to the charges and is now out on bond.
Responding to the outcry, Shkreli initially said he would roll back the Daraprim price hike. Last month, Turing said it would offer price discounts of up to 50 per cent to hospitals. The drug is sold exclusively through some Walgreens pharmacies.
Under Shkreli’s direction, Turing hired more than 150 people in its NY office and spending, including exorbitant salaries, was out of control.
He thanked Mr Shkreli for helping to make Turing the “dynamic, research-focused company it is today and wish him the best in his future endeavours”.

Shkreli is also the CEO of KaloBios, a publicly traded company that saw its shares drop 53 percent yesterday.
