She tweeted: “We reported this to Saudi Police”.
Videos of an Arab Sheikh brutally beating up three Indian workers is going viral on the internet.
One of the men is believed to have used WhatsApp to send the video of their boss beating them with a wooden plank. And because there is little that they can do to fight back, they’re often kept in very bad conditions, exploited and physically as well as sexually abused. Local laws in the country are heavily weighed in favour of the employers, who in many cases have the right to hold on to the passports of the migrant labourers, meaning they can not even leave the country if they wish to.
“They had promised mechanical, electrical and plumbing jobs”. They were later sent to Saudi where they were doing jobs like loading material and other works in a brick factory.

The minister stated that Indian diplomats contacted the Saudi police on behalf of the victims’ families and arranged for the young men to have protection.
