Shooting in Kansas, multiple victims
Up to 20 people were injured in the attack at the Excel Industries factory, County Sheriff T Walton said.

Walton said there could be as many as four crime scenes – the Excel facility, another location in Hesston, where a person was shot in the leg, the town of Newton, where a man was shot in the shoulder, and a fourth location.
Walton says the suspect was an Excel employee. Walton says, “There’s going to be a lot of sad people before this is over”.
The suspected shooter, an employee at Excel, was killed.
Francis hospital in Wichita said it was expecting six patients, ABC affiliate KAKE reported. She said that five victims were in serious condition and two were in fair condition.
At least 10 people were hospitalized – three at Wesley Hospital and seven at Via Christi Hospital. Their conditions are not known.
Martin Espinoza, who works at Excel, was in the plant during the shooting. It was then the witness heard gunshots, which sounded like they were striking metal.
The shift began at 2:45 p.m. and was supposed to end at 1:15 a.m.
Numerous law enforcement officers from a variety of agencies were scattered through the Excel parking lot.
At least two people are dead, and possibly up to four, after a worker from a Hesston, Kansas lawn care manufacturing plant opened fire.

According to the company website, Excel Industries is a manufacturer of turf care products.
