Police in Voorhees were called to the Genesis HealthCare facility late Sunday after reports of a shooting, Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo said in a statement.

The facility is on the 3000 block of Evesham Road.
What prompted 62 year old son, George Bullet III to kill his 85 year old mother, Andrea Bullet before killing himself at NJ nursing home, Genesis HealthCare facility? As a staff member walked into the room, Buller shot himself. According to the early indicators, one of the victims could also be a shooter.
“It’s unknown exactly where the gun was or if he did go out to retrieve the gun”, Voorhees Township Police Deputy Chief Bill Donnelly told WCAU-TV. He then turned the gun on himself. He left to get something out of his auto, police say, before returning to her room.
Officials say the man had visited his mom in the past but there is no immediate motive as to why he may have taken her life and then his own.
According to its website, the Voorhees Center’s programs and services include transitional care, short stay and long term care, cardiac management, and memory and dementia care. It operates more than 500 centers in the country.

Gladys Christopher, whose mother and father live at the facility, wasn’t inside at the time but rushed in shortly after to make sure they weren’t injured. The residents who were moved out of that wing of the building have not been allowed back, as authorities continue the investigation.
