A shooting occurred at the Chester County Justice Center in the first-floor lobby involving a members of the county Sheriff’s Office and a man who was apparently trying to enter.

Curtis Smith, 34, entered the Chester County Courthouse around 11 a.m., dressed in all black. He was then shot by another deputy.
Hogan said on his Facebook page that another deputy sheriff shot Smith, who was pronounced dead at a hospital. The injured deputy was taken to the hospital for treatment; his identity and condition are not known.
Smith previously faced charges from a March attempt to breach the White House grounds, but authorities said it was unclear what Smith’s motivations appeared to be Tuesday. He said the court would be closed for the rest of the day. The court documents say the man passed signs that read, “Restricted area”.
Smith, according to Hogan, is the same man who was arrested in early March after he allegedly vaulted a White House wall.
Smith was the first of three men to try storming the White House during a weird, 16-hour stretch of similar but unrelated incidents.
Witnesses heard the suspect, who they said was dressed in all black, yell “I’m going to get you” before attacking the deputy, Fox 29 reported.

It was not immediately clear why Smith was at the courthouse.
