Shooting takes place outside Maryland mall
A suspect who shot at least three people at a shopping mall in the U.S. state of Maryland is not in custody, the Montgomery County Police Department said on its official Twitter account on Friday.

Two of the victims shot at the Westfield Montgomery Mall are male; the other is female.
The mall is located at 7101 Democracy Boulevard in Bethesda.
Police tweet that there are three victims, two men and a woman, but the suspect is not in custody.
There was no immediate word on the conditions of the victims. One person was killed, Washington’s NBC 4 reported.
At 11:50 a.m., police received a report of shots fired at the Aspen Hill Giant Food store, 13781 Connecticut Ave.in Silver Spring. They are being treated at Suburban Hospital, a representative said.
Students and staff at the nearby Walter Johnson High School, which is about 2 miles away, were sheltering in place, according to NBC Washington.
