Shoppers describe chaos during mall attack
No one answered the door late Sunday at a home address listed for Falconer, and a voicemail box for a telephone listing was full and not accepting new messages.

However, police then locked the remaining people into the mall for hours, updating them periodically, a scene captured on videos posted to You Tube.
“We will be diligent and get to the bottom of this”, Anderson said.
St. Cloud Hospital spokesman Chris Nelson said the eight victims were transported to an area hospital.
Dahir Adan was identified as the man who randomly stabbed nine people in a Minnesota mall while referring to Allah.
Authorities don’t believe the knife-wielding man was a mall employee but declined to comment on whether the incident was an act of worldwide terrorism.
Along with being president and owner of Tactical Advantage and Tactical Advantage Firearms Training, the 43-year-old Falconer’s professional bio notes that he has assisted St. Cloud State University with law enforcement training “in the disciplines of decision shooting and dynamic entry” in realistic situations.
The mall attack was part of a terrifying 24 hours in the United States.
Authorities haven’t publicly identified the attacker.
The New York Times report of the claims made by ISIS mentions that the Amaq News Agency bulletin announced that the ISIS was taking credit for the vocation of the mall attacker.
Eight victims were treated for non-life-threatening wounds and were later released. He told the Star Tribune he had “no suspicion” that his son might have been involved in terrorist activity. The suspect’s family said he didn’t have mental health problems but that he had been complaining of insomnia, according to CAIR.
The FBI says it’s looking at the mall attack as a possible act of terrorism.
An off-duty police officer shot and killed the suspect, Mr Anderson said.
A St. Cloud police officer told AFP on Sunday that the department was actively investigating the attack, but had no further information for public release and had no immediate plans for further news briefings. Officer Falconer’s quick actions saved lives and prevented additional injuries, and we are grateful for his heroism.
Authorities have not yet given the name of the suspect who was shot inside a Macy’s. KARE 11 said people with blood on them were seen walking through the mall. The governor also offered his support for the nine victims, three of which were still hospitalized on Sunday.
Kleis, who went to Crossroads Center after the attack, said that “there were a lot of people in that mall and clearly a lot of witnesses”, and that police interviews had stretched well into Sunday morning.
“We saw these two guys. One guy was bleeding from the side of his face”, Weires said. “He was screaming at us” to get out.
Weires said she and her friends followed the guard because they thought maybe there was a shoplifter or a kidnapping.
Authorities say all of the injured are expected to survive.
Thorton says they are going through the unnamed suspect’s social media and electronic devices and are talking with his friends and associates to determine his motivation.
One suspect is dead following a stabbing that took place at a St. Cloud, Minnesota mall on Saturday night.
The assaults occurred at multiple locations and businesses at the mall, he said.
