Ant Foran, centre manager of The Broadway, in Bradford, said the last three days have been very busy but he expects Christmas Eve to be less frantic.

Kevin Jenkins, Visa Europe managing director for United Kingdom and Ireland, said: “On December 23, Brits will race to the high-street to pick up last-minute presents, despite starting their Christmas shopping early this year with record amounts spent online on Black Friday”.
She’s definitely not alone.
Many were still trying to find the ideal gift Christmas Eve at Westlake’s Crocker Park.
“Today is our gift card, so every $50 that you spend, you’ll get a $10 free gift card”, Apricot Lane’s Chasity Andrus said. So my granddaughter called me this morning.
“We have the socks that say “Worst Gift Ever” on them so give them a pair of socks”.
The holiday rush can induce panic, but some people insist they actually enjoy it. “Thank goodness it’s only just a few things”.
“There is not enough hours in the day and enough of me to go around”, said Chrissie Gray of Barboursville.
An estimated 75 percent of holiday shoppers wait until the last few days.
It’s nearly like a game at this point, with the clock ticking down and shoppers strategizing on the best way to get the best gift, the best parking spot and make the best time for their shopping trip.
“Sometimes, Christmas celebrations start til the 27th or the 28th are also part of the Christmas season”, said Patrick Beckerdite.
“It gets a little hectic when you’re waiting around in lines”, said Aaron Peterson, of Salt Lake City, who was coincidentally waiting in line to make one of his final purchases before Christmas. “So you wait and see if there’s a discount in town”, said Binova. Holiday shopper Darnell Evans said, “Mainly doing some Coach Store shopping, looking for purses and jewelry for the ladies”.
Others are staying open even later.
As stressful as Christmas can be, 24-Hour News 8 spoke with some who relish the ultimate stress, by buying all Christmas gifts on Christmas Eve.

“We wanted to get one more shot with Santa Clause and do some last minute shopping and just get some pictures”, says Jonier West, last minute shopper.
