Despite peaceful protests earlier in the day, the mood changed when a pedestrian was hit by a speeding auto.

Heather DeMian, who was at the scene and was live-streaming the Ferguson protest, told the newspaper, “I just started screaming, and the bullets started flying, and I started screaming some more”. “Hit him, and he rolled and he bounced”.

Less than a minute later, gunfire was heard and people began screaming. Several people were injured, at least one person seriously.

The terrified woman fled the murderous mob and turned herself into police, where she has been cooperative.

The death of Michael Brown at the hands of police in 2014 and the events that followed set off protests and unrest in Ferguson and other USA cities. Reports state that by 10 p.m. the commotion was settled, and everyone had left.

The condition of the person struck by the vehicle is unknown and no arrests have been made.

The incident occurred during a peaceful memorial for Brown, who was shot by a police officer at the age of 18 in August 2014. He resigned in November 2014.

Also Tuesday night, Black Lives Matter protesters disrupted the performance of Aida at The Muny in Forest Park.

Mr Brown’s death triggered months of sometimes violent protests in Ferguson and across the U.S. and was the catalyst for the Black Lives Matter movement.

The 2014 shooting also led to a Justice Department investigation that found patterns of racial bias in Ferguson’s police and municipal court system.

During Michael Brown death anniversary, the slain teen’s father made a speech during the memorial service.

“My son built families up, opened the eyes of the world and let them know this ain’t right”, he said. This color is lovely. The federal agency and the city agreed this year to make sweeping changes.
