Shots fired: Jurgen Klopp hits out at Manchester United transfer policy
“I know about these players so I don’t ask them”.

Klopp goes on to suggest that his preference is to recruit players who are not in among the most in-demand in England or Europe.
“Obviously I know (Sadio) Mane and (Gini) Wijnaldum but it’s not a case for me of being excited by any of the individual signings for Liverpool, it’s a case of being happy with what Jurgen Klopp is doing”, Barnes told the Liverpool Echo.
“The most important thing is how they can play football: talent, skill, potential but then character is very important”.
In recent summers, Liverpool fans have been left disappointed by sales of key players such as Luis Suarez and Raheem Sterling, but that hasn’t been the case this summer, with no sales of key players.
The media spoke to the Liverpool manager and he said: “This is my squad now”, Klopp said. I would even do it differently if I could spend that money.
However, Klopp said the France international’s punishment would not be extended beyond his exile from the pre-season trip and there was no question of him being sold.
“You can’t say at the end, ‘Only 11 best players will play together and let’s see what happens.’ The day that this is football, I’m not in a job anymore”.
“We will give 100 per cent and see what happens”.
The German added that he believes there are now qualities in his squad which weren’t there a year ago, and that he’s looking to bring that quality out in full over the coming season.
“[There are some new drills] because we didn’t have time to work with the boys last season”.
“If I had to guess I would say rather no, but I don’t know actually because it’s a long time until the 31st of August and I have no idea”, Klopp said in an exclusive interview with ESPN FC. I’m hoping he starts the season strong, gets his confidence early and I think he will be a big player for us.
“It’s not boring but you know everything about each other so how can you develop?” They can do what they want and spend as much as they want.

I am not interested in the money of the players. Klopp has a little less than three weeks to ensure his team can prepare for teams that prepare especially to hit them in dead ball situations.
