Should No Man’s Sky players be able to get refunds?
Those that bought No Man’s Sky on Steam has a life-line as they can request a refund for th title. Users reporting technical difficulties with the game have been receiving refunds, even those who have played over 50 hours on the game.

After a few delays, the highly-anticipated space exploration and survival game No Man’s Sky released to some impressive sales numbers on PS4 and PC earlier this month.
It said there were no special exemptions available, which debunked a rumor of there being such.
One reviewer on Steam justified their 40 hours of playing time by saying that they continued “hoping the game would get better” but “unfortunately it never did”.
I think it is safe to say that Hello Games has had a pretty rough week. Seemingly in response to that, its Steam page now carries a message about refunds that we haven’t seen before.
Fans are furious over how Hello Games lied about many aspects of the game including its multiplayer. You’re more or less guaranteed a refund, no questions asked, if you played any game less than two hours and have requested a refund within 14 days of purchase.
Several players have been requesting refunds on Steam, many of whom managed to get their money back despite having played the game past the two-hour window. We’re not talking about a consumer product in the factory sense.
According to Inquisitr, users of the game were allowed to have it refunded regardless of the game time that they have logged-in to the game. In some cases the game will provide you some hints and tips to follow while other stories will freely talk about their tale.
Given that the company normally cuts off returns after two hours of play time, that would have marked a remarkable recognition of a single game’s supposed failures.
But the shine wore off No Man’s Sky very quickly as complaints about bugs and inconsistent gameplay surfaced, with sales slumping after a little more than a week and the number of concurrent players falling off by 90 percent.
