Showers and storms become more scattered
Ample moisture building across the southeastern United States combined with a front that has stalled out over the Carolinas will keep a high chance for widespread showers and storms in the forecast for Monday. There will be a lot of rain south and west of the area today. We may break that streak of 90+ degree days on Tuesday. Highs each day will slowly come down into the lower 90s rather than the mid to upper 90s we have been seeing.

Thursday and Friday should be drier as Atlantic high pressure system builds back into the southeast. Scattered showers or storms.
As far as timing, I would have a plan in place for a possible shower or storm during the morning, afternoon, and evening.
Friday: A few showers & storms.
Sunday will start with plenty of sunshine, with increasing afternoon clouds.
Tuesday-Wednesday: Mostly Cloudy with Showers Likely. It won’t rain all the time, but any passing storm could produce heavy rain in a short amount of time.

REST OF THE WEEK: The National Hurricane Center is no longer monitoring the storm system along the coast for possible tropical development.
