Showers and thunderstorms threaten N.J. weekend

Thunder storms and heavy rain are likely this afternoon, starting around noon and intensifying after 4 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.

According to NWS, southeast Missouri can expect to see continued highs ranging from the mid-80s to low-90s, along with a chance for a thunderstorm or two each day through Saturday. East wind around 5 miles per hour becoming light and variable.

On Sunday, showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 2 p.m., then showers and thunderstorms likely after 2 p.m.
