Showtime series to feature Florida State

Showtime, which featured Notre Dame past year, announced the series on Tuesday. And is ready. The premium cabler said today the Florida State Seminoles will be the subject of this year’s seasonlong docuseries.

The Seminoles will be the focus of a season-long documentary series on the cable network, with weekly 30-minute episodes beginning on September 6 at 10 p.m., the day after FSU opens its 2016 season against Ole Miss in Orlando.

As I reported Tuesday, Florida State will appear on Showtime’s A Season With. television program.

“There’s no other network delivering such intimate and unbridled access to world-class teams and athletes during the most crucial times of their respective seasons”, said Stephen Espinoza, Executive Vice President & General Manager, Showtime Sports in a statement. The show is the network’s Hard Knocks-esque, behind the scenes look at a specific college football program.

“A Season With” is an all-access, behind-the-scenes look at one college football team, with footage of meetings, practice, games and pre- and post-game locker room speeches. “It’s our difference maker”. There’s a shortlist of must-watch teams this upcoming season, and Florida State is certainly near – or at – the top. The linchpin of the campaign was the unveiling of sequential portions of an original artistic mosaic of FSU football imagery throughout the day on a new A SEASON WITH Instagram account leading up to this official announcement.
