Close on the heels of a top filmmaker announcing her name for a romantic film with her ex-boyfriend Aditya Roy Kapur, hit filmmaker Mohit Suri (of “Aashiqui 2” and “Ek Villain” fame) has signed the petite actress for “Half Girlfriend”.

A love story, it talks about the relationship between a boy from a rural background, Madhav and a sophisticated English-speaking Delhi girl, Riya who become friends, separate, reunite and part again to unite in the end. The movie, is expected to release sometime in 2016. One, because she plays an affluent Delhi based girl for the first time.
