Siasia Adds Balogun To Eagles Squad, Insists On Fit Players Vs Egypt

“I am sure that we will do Nigerians proud in Kaduna and far away Egypt where the matches will take place”.
“I have absolute faith in the players”.
The two players announced their retirement from worldwide football last October, after having issues with former coach, Sunday Oliseh. They told me “coach we are coming to do it and play for you”, which is a good assurance, so we want to go out there with a positive mind to make sure that we put smiles on the faces of Nigerians.
The selected players from this training camp, are expected to move to Kaduna on March, where they will be joined by their foreign counterparts. Nigeria is blessed with so many talented footballers across the world and I know that those we are inviting for this match will give everything for the six points in both matches.
The full lists of home-based: goalkeepers are Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Olufemi Thomas and Emmanuel Daniel, while defenders are Kalu Orji, Chibuzor Okonkwo, Mathew Etim, Austin Oboroakpo, Sincere Seth, Segun Oduduwa, Chima Akas, Chris Madaki and Oke Ogogatewho.
Nigeria coach Samson Siasia has also picked West Ham’s Victor Moses, Watford’s Odion Ighalo, Chelsea’s John Mikel Obi and Arsenal’s Alex Iwobi in a 20-man group of overseas-based players.
