Oliseh quit on Thursday, blaming contract violations and unpaid wages. “We had no idea he was selling a dummy”, the FA added. Siasia gave the assurance in an interview with newsmen in Abuja shortly after the Technical and Development Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), announced his appointment.
According to reliable sources, Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have already opened up discussions with the experienced Serbian coach Micho and his representatives since the CHAN in Rwanda.
“He went on air to insult Nigerians in what is now known as his ‘YouTube rant’ wherein he made serious allegations against the Nigeria media, which he has failed to substantiate”.
The NFF boss said the era of putting local coaches in charge of the Super Eagles is over.
Lille of France goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama has debunked the rumours milling around that he is planning to stage a comeback to the Super Eagles following the exit of Chief Coach Sunday Oliseh from the team.
Nigeria have swiftly reappointed Samson Siasia as coach to replace Oliseh.
He said the experience of the coaches, who include 2015 Federation Internationale de Football Association U-17 World Cup victor Emmanuel Amuneke, as well as Salisu Yusuf and Alloy Agu, would see the team through.

Siasia will be no stranger, having served as coach of the Super Eagles’ between December 2010 and October 2011, before his contract was terminated following the team’s failure to qualify for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations.
