Sign A Petition For In-N-Out To Serve Veggie Burgers

An online petition wants to see Southern California-based In-N-Out put a vegetarian item on its menu, and it’s already gained the support of tens of thousands of signatures.

In it, organizers call out In-N-Out president and sole heiress to the company Lynsi Snyder, asking for a meatless option on the fast food restaurant’s menu.

A petition of more than 18,000 signatures was started on Change.org, addressed to In-N-Out execs, to get a vegetarian burger on the menu.

“I don’t think that satisfies people’s desire for a full entree”, Emily Byrd, a spokeswoman for Good Food Institute, said Monday in a phone interview. Chipotle has vegan sofritas, White Castle has veggie sliders – even fast-food kingpin Burger King has the BK Veggie!”reads the petition”.

The Institute also says millennials are the ones leading this effort. It’s 2016. Plenty of restaurants are adapting to be able to serve customers with a growing number of dietary restrictions, and they believe it’s about time In-N-Out follow suit by adding a veggie burger to its menu.

As of Tuesday morning, the petition drive had attracted more than 17,000 supporters.

If you want a meat-free meal at In-N-Out, you’re going to be stuck eating multiple orders of French fries or a cheese-slathered bun.

Currently, there are almost 18,500 signatures from diners in support of the petition.
