Though the popularity of the mega-popular boy band One Direction has been waning since the departure of heartthrob Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Simon Cowell are rumored to be working together to launch a new female version of the band. According to The Sun, the talent judge and founder of Syco Music has said the new girl band is “as good as I’ve ever heard”.

‘She is very good with them. They have such an incredible history of artists, I hope I can follow in the footsteps. Speaking about Louis, the 56 year-old was full of praise saying “He has got fantastic instinct… I don’t think anyone else from the band will do that”.
SIMON Cowell has claimed he knew last year’s X Factor would be a flop even before it began.
“[Louis Tomlinson] has just signed a deal with us as an imprint of a record label”.
“I had dinner with her a couple of months ago with Liam and they were great”.
One Direction are now on hiatus, and haven’t announced a date for their return.
Simon Cowell has insinuated that Liam Payne could have some major beef with his One Direction bandmate Harry Styles. ‘Mainly because it is a another label who has now got your artist who you worked with for so many years.
Cowell previously admitted he was blindsided by Liam Payne ‘s decision to sign with a rival record label and speculated that it could be a rivalry with Harry that influenced his decision.
“He was screaming, he put his hand across his neck at me”, Simon said.
He added to the Daily Mirror newspaper: “She is very closed to a lot of people, but once you get behind that she is great fun and has a great sense of humour”.
The young star is also filming his first Hollywood movie, after landing a part in Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk.
‘They are going to have successful solo careers – that is assured as much as it can be.
