The X Factor US was cancelled by FOX after just three seasons.

Cowell, who has signed on for another season as a judge on his United Kingdom shows, “Britain’s Got Talent” and “The X Factor”, has found and launched stars through the shows he’s created, including One Direction, Fifth Harmony and Susan Boyle. So I had been going over and over it in my head thinking about the right thing to say and then I just started waffling.

“We’ve been talking about it for a few years, amusing enough, me and NBC”, he told Us.

Speculation has been rife that Cowell would be replacing Stern, who announced recently that although he had been offered the chance to return, he would be leaving the show while he decides what his next move will be. Tomlinson will be helping out Simon Cowell at Judges Houses this weekend.

A clearly delighted Stephans, who melted hearts by bringing his dog Honey along with him to his audition, declared that: “If this is a dream, I don’t want to wake up”.

Simon’s decision not to take Jennifer Phillips through to the live shows was an unpopular one, however, he defended giving Max Stone a place as a finalist, stating, “100% Max should have had it…”

Would anything be different if The X Factor aired now?

He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “I think like with anything, you have a lot more perspective on things. A cigarette and a beer”, Cowell said. “It’s been a very controversial 48 hours, I’ve got to be honest with you”, he laughed. He’s so much fun.

Tomlinson said: “I’ve got a little label in print so I’m trying to work with that at the moment”. He also confirmed that he will be present for its final episode according to a report from USA Today. I know them all.

On Saturday, the BBC ballroom show opened up a 3 million gap with an average audience of 9.32 million with a 42.5 per cent share of the total TV audience.

“I value his opinions, though sometimes when he translates those opinions on the TV screen, I get a bit… agitated”. It’s great though to be working with him, it’s nice that he values what I have to say and my opinions on the contestants.
