According to the Los Angeles Times, police are trying to get a warrant to search Brown’s home in Tarzana.

During the incident Chris took to social media to profess his innocence and to say he “stays out of the way” to look after his two-year-old daughter Royalty Brown in a series of Instagram video posts.
Brown posted a series of weird post playing the victim and claiming his innocence after police were called to the house when friend Baylee Curran claimed she was threatened with a gun.
She hasn’t responded to requests for comment from The Associated Press.
The arrest was the culmination of a daylong standoff on Tuesday that began when a woman at the 27-year-old singer’s house called 911.
“When you get the warrant for whatever you need to do, you’re going to walk right up in here and you’re going to see nothing, you idiots”, a visibly angry Brown said in one of his Instagram posts. Curran left Brown’s home, after declining to sign an NDA she says, and called 9-1-1.
The woman at the centre of the stand-off is reported to be Baylee Curran, who was named Miss California Regional 2016.
“What I do care about is you are defacing my name and my character and integrity, ‘ he added, saying he had done nothing wrong and criticising police actions”.
Ramirez did not identify the woman or elaborate on the assistance she needed.
A search warrant was obtained by police Tuesday afternoon and law enforcement officials spent several hours at Brown’s residence before he was taken into custody.
Multiple police vehicles are parked at the scene.
The Grammy-winning singer postponed a British tour in 2010 after he was denied a visa and in February was declined entry into Canada.
After several missteps, Brown completed his probation past year in the case involving Rihanna.
Detectives from LAPD’s elite Robbery-Homicide Division were handling the investigation, said Officer Drake Madison, who confirmed the home belongs to Brown.
Knight had no immediate information about what prompted the call.

Police have since performed a lengthy search of his expansive home, and about six people have been escorted from the property for questioning.
