Troubled singer Chris Brown on Tuesday took to Instagram to upbraid police outside his door after officers responded to a woman’s distress call.
Singer Chris Brown became involved in a stand-off with police at his home in LA on Tuesday in relation to claims he threatened a woman with a gun in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Ray J didn’t get out of the driveway when police reportedly handcuffed him and confiscated his BMW.
Television news showed several police cars parked outside the property in the San Fernando Valley area. The search concluded a 10-hour standoff between the singer and LAPD officers, who entered shortly before 1 p.m. PST. with a search warrant. He did not say what assistance the woman needed.
According to TMZ, Brown is still inside the home, though no one is letting police inside.
Baylee Curran, Miss California Regional 2016, was confirmed as the woman who called 911.
Lt. Chris Ramirez said in a statement, “Right now, we still have to determine what actually occurred”. You guys got me f***ed up though because good luck when you get the warrant or whatever you need to do. “The detectives are trying to make contact with Mr. Brown”.
Multiple police vehicles were parked at the scene. She said Brown and another man became angry with her when she admired the man’s diamond necklace.
Meanwhile, Brown posted at least three online videos declaring his innocence and dismissing TV reports that he was barricaded inside.
Brown’s attorney did not immediately return a call for comment.
The singer pleaded guilty to a felony assault charge after a 2009 incident with Rihanna, his girflriend at the time.

He recently was charged with driving without a license and a hit-and-run and he also admitted to a probation violation when he assaulted someone outside a hotel in Washington. After several missteps, he completed his probation in that case previous year.
