Sir Alex Ferguson says José Mourinho will fix Chelsea’s disastrous season
Mourinho has seen his position put back in the spotlight following Saturday’s 1-0 home defeat to Bournemouth.

Failure to qualify from the group would then lead you to believe that Mourinho’s time at Stamford Bridge is numbered.
It is reminiscent of David Moyes’s season at Manchester United.
It’s true the players are to be held accountable, especially considering this is largely the same squad that stormed to last season’s Premier League crown before crumbling so emphatically this campaign.
“I know that journalists like it when it’s not going well – they are looking for problems – but I never heard there was a problem between Mourinho and Eden”.
But former Chelsea coach Ray Wilkins predicts even Mourinho will not survive if they crash out of the Champions League this week.
And do share with your family and friends – so they don’t miss out!
He cited inconsistency among players as the cancer that is eating the club’s performance.
“I’m a big fan of him as a player, but at times like this he really lets himself down”.
And to do that, he somehow has to drag an improvement from a group of forwards, most notably Diego Costa and Oscar, playing as if they had only just been introduced to each other. It gives the players some reward for how hard they have worked.
“With five minutes to go the team that was defending was being, what some people would call, intelligent and some would say is lack of fair play”, Mourinho told Sky Sports.
Fergie claimed the disruptive loss of goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois to injury this season and captain John Terry’s loss of form have been big factors in Chelsea’s nightmare season so far.
The Spanish boss has often been linked with a move to Manchester City, but Sportsmail revealed last month that Guardiola would prefer a move to London with his contract in Germany up at the end of the season.
Hazard is irreplaceable. Last season, he was being talked about in the same breath as Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
While Chelsea needing only to avoid defeat to reach the knockout stages, Mourinho will be desperate for Costa and Co to rediscover their goalscoring touch and to spare his defenders another nervous match.

Mourinho managed Chelsea between 2004 and 2007, during which time he took the club to its first English Premier League title and its first top-flight championship league trophy in 50 years.
