Siri Has A New Trick: She Can Beatbox!

When asked to reveal when the world will end, Siri jokes: “I don’t know, but I wouldn’t worry about it…there are other perfectly good universes”. And then Siri repeats the phrase “cats and boots” over and over again, which is supposed to be the basic phrase that aspiring beat boxers use when they’re learning.

Siri’s developers are probably sitting in a room watching this happen and crossing her beatboxing talent off a long list of gags the public has yet to discover. Siri now knows how to beatbox and speak Hebrew. It doesn’t make sense. While Siri’s approach to beatboxing is quite straightforward, we’re sure her skills will improve over time. Siri now supports more than 30 languages.

While it’s hard to say if VocalIQ has already started upgrading Siri, the digital assistant looks like it will remain the best one for years to come.

According to the Israeli technology website Gadgety, Siri’s Hebrew version does not support queries on Apple’s navigation app, Maps, but will be able to answer general questions.

“Our objective was to explore the various ways Siri outperformed the competition and to give consumers an expectation for their own virtual assistants’ performances”, Experts Exchange said. Meanwhile, Google Now notched 68 percent and Cortana got 60 percent.
