Sister of Dead Milwaukee Man Says Brother and Officer Were High…
“I had to blame myself for a lot of things, too, because your hero is your dad and I played a very big part in my family’s role model for them”, Patrick Smith told WITI TV in an interview on Sunday.

According to Sylville Smith’s sister, Sherelle Smith, the officer – who has not yet been named due to threats against him – reportedly went to the same high school as Smith, Fox 6 Now reports. And the police officer who shot the criminal?
Not only have social media posts been personally directed at Heaggan, some expressed broader anger at police and what they see as systemic problems – in law enforcement, in race relations, in the city of Milwaukee.
Still, the policy did not get high marks when measured against standards developed by The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights and 30 other organizations in a report released earlier this month.
Police move in on a group of protesters throwing rocks at them in Milwaukee, Sunday, Aug. 14, 2016.
The officer’s name and photo have been widely circulated on social media, with angry comments from people who have threatened to have him killed.
We believe it is important for the public to know the threats the officer is facing – and how authorities are responding to those threats. He became a sworn officer three years later.
MaryNell Regan, executive director of the Milwaukee Fire and Police Commission, said the program does not specifically seek minorities but has a goal of “diversity in recruitment”.
According to initial reports, Smith had a semiautomatic handgun on his person at the time of the stop. He was lauded by the department in 2014 after he and officer Dave Waliszewski purchased dinner at local diner for a homeless woman on a frigid February day before arranging shelter for her. The video of the incident has not yet been released.
In footage obtained by the Daily Mail she said: “Burning down s*** ain’t gonna help nothing”.
“Yes, a black man did the shooting but he was wearing a blue uniform with a badge”, she said.

“I was in shock and disbelief just like everyone else that knew him or grew up with him”, Flywalker said of the shooting. “I understand we are angry and scared, but don’t ruin our neighborhoods, our home!”
