Six Things you Need to know about Santa Claus!
As many kids know, NORAD (the North American Aerospace Defense Command) tracks Santa each year through its online Santa Tracker.

“NORAD has supported Santa Claus’ Christmas Eve operations for 60 years and we are always delighted to help”, Norton said.
“Well, I think it’s a welcome reminder that, while most Americans are at home enjoying Christmas with their families, that our airmen, soldiers, sailors and marines, whether they’re in NORAD or around the world are out there keeping us safe”, Cotton said.
“Last Sunday (Dec. 13), kids stood in line for more than an hour in the rain just for a chance to see me and get a candy cane”, Santa said.
Staff and guests celebrated their annual Care Partners Kids Christmas Celebration Wednesday with a visit from Santa Claus. The company says that its Santa Tracker app has an interesting countdown timer until the eve of Christmas, along with Santa’s scheduled travelling path worldwide and his exact location at the moment.
As NORAD, a join mission between the U.S. and Canadian military, explains it, it is the use of sophisticated monitoring and defence equipment to track Santa’s sleigh using the heat signature from Rudolf’s nose.
Santa can be tracked online www.noradsanta.org/, or via telephone on December 24th at 1-877-HI-NORAD.
Sixty years later, the Santa tracker remains popular. There was a Christmas Eve nervousness flowing through me because of my concerns on how Santa would judge my conduct for the year. We do, however, know from history that it appears he arrives only when children are asleep!
You will be able to access Google’s Santa Tracker here, while in the meantime you can play festive games in “Santa’s village”, learn about holiday traditions in different countries and even give Santa a makeover. It started out black, and then it turned gray, and when it turned gray, I became Santa Claus. Volunteers will be answering calls from an estimated 125,000 children around the globe looking for Santa’s whereabouts.
“Am I on the nice list or the naughty list?”. I do remember adding my brother Larry’s requests to mine in the letter because he was still a toddler and whatever he asked for I had probably put in his mind myself.
Have you ever wondered what Santa Claus’ office looks like? We did stop talking then but I know I still couldn’t go to sleep for a long time after that because I was listening for Santa and his reindeer to land up on the rooftop.
