Skateboarding bulldog dies of heart problems
Tillman hit the headlines in 2007 after a video of him went viral and since then he’s also been filmed surfing and snowboarding.

Tillman died on Tuesday, Davis told the Ventura County Star, after developing a heart muscle disease this summer. “My best bud Tillman passed away last night, of natural causes”. No words can truly describe how much he’ll be missed.
Cowabunga in heaven, my dude.
Tillman was a “total ham”, Davis said previous year. “Thanks for all the good times, Tilly”. Said video has been viewed on YouTube more than 21 million times. Davis says Tillman eventually earned the Guinness World Record for the fastest skateboarding dog. Soon after, Apple created a national iPhone commercial – back in the days when YouTube on your phone seemed revolutionary – making the pooch an overnight star.
And Davis said that his dog loved riding for crowds. Despite the record being broken, Tillman was still the most beloved skateboarding dog in the world.
Tillman even “threw” the first ball at a baseball game.
Recognised for his light brown coat, white face and white chest, Tillman also appeared in the Hallmark channel’s reality television series “Who Let the Dogs Out”.

They added that Davis never did get Tillman to do traditional tricks like roll over… probably because the dog had his own ideas about what rolling would mean.
